I started dabbling clarinet in senior school, however it wasn’t until I was in my mid 20’s that I got the opportunity to purchase my own clarinet and begin my musical journey properly. Unfortunately, at 30, life changed, and the clarinet took a back seat for a number of years.
Then at the age of 44 I bought myself a Sax, got myself an amazing tutor and joined an Amateur Jazz Band. I’m currently working through my advanced Classical Clarinet and Jazz Sax Grade Exams. I also perform with the John Seeley Jazz Band, local open mic night’s, Maldon Orchestra & am on 3-month rehearsal probation to join the Essex Yeomanry Band.
