Become a Health Champion Volunteer

Supporting Health and wellbeing in Thurrock

Helping local residents to adopt healthier lifestyles

Health Champion Volunteers

The Community Health Champions role is a local health project. We are looking for people to support our small team, who have an interest in the health and wellbeing of their communities.

To do this we are developing a network of Health Champion Volunteers to help spread positive health and wellbeing messages through conversations and activities.

Who can be a Health Champion Volunteers?

Anyone either living or working in Thurrock with an interest in the health and wellbeing of their community.

We are looking to recruit volunteers to assist in the following three areas shown below:

  • Spread health and wellbeing information and opportunities through their own network, online or face to face.
  • Assist at health promotion events.
  • Able to assist vulnerable individuals with short term ad hoc needs i.e., helping them to shop after being in hospital.

We would be pleased for volunteers to sign up for any of these opportunities or for all of them as their interests and availability permits.
