Community Hub Trustees

Could you help lead a new local charity during its most exciting time of expansion?

Community Hubs Thurrock are looking for experienced, talented and committed people to join its newly established board of trustees.

Community Hubs Thurrock is an overarching charity for Thurrock’s Community Hub programme and works with local areas to provide community based and citizen led activities and information.

The Community Hubs programme has been established for over four years, but is now moving to the development of a charity to help take forward the local priorities and ambitions of an area.

Meetings are held in the evening rotated around Thurrock. Training will be provided for all new trustees and a board strategy weekend takes place every autumn. Meetings of the committees are held 4-6 times each year.

Community Hubs Thurrock are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience and expertise in the following areas:

Finance
Business development
Fundraising, philanthropy and income generation
Community engagement and development

Previous experience of charity work is not essential but it is important that trustees have a genuine interest in Community Hubs Thurrock’s work.
