The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) survey is now live for you to tell Thurrock Council what you think of local pharmacy services.
Thurrock Health and Wellbeing Board have a statutory duty to publish a PNA every three years. As part of this, the board carries out a survey of pharmacy services in order to understand what is working well and identify areas that need improvement. The results of the survey help the council to ensure that services meet the health needs of Thurrock residents in the future.
The short survey is confidential and completing this will help local authorities to develop services in the future including accessibility of pharmacy services and how these will be maintained and developed. If you live in the borough, we would be very grateful if you could take five minutes to complete the survey and encourage your friends and family to do it too.
Pharmacies have gone above and beyond throughout the pandemic and for many of us, have been the first point of call supporting with health issues we have faced.
In Thurrock, pharmaceutical services are provided from community pharmacies, internet pharmacies, and providers of specialist medical appliances, also known as appliance contractors. Community pharmacies also provide healthcare support and advice and are often the first point of contact when people are concerned about their health. Anyone who uses local pharmaceutical services in the borough is invited to have your say.
The survey will be live through to Friday 4 February, for more information and to complete the survey visit https://consult.thurrock.gov.uk/pharmaceutical-needs-assessment
