Corringham, Fobbing and Homesteads Community Forum Claimed

Community Forum for Corringham, Fobbing and Homesteads

We, Corringham & Fobbing Forum, are a group made up of local residents and businesses who got together with a united aim, to improve our neighbourhood.
We meet on the second Monday of the month at 7.30pm at Corringham Library, in the Town Centre, or at the Fire Station on the Fobbing Road.
All our meetings are public meetings, very open and friendly. If you live, work or have a business in our Forum area, you are most welcome to attend.

Where are we?

We are situated in the North East of Thurrock, north of the Manorway A1014.
Our area consists of 14,295 residents (as of the 2001 census).

What are out facilities?

We have a medium size town centre, with a good mixture of shops that supply our immediate needs. We are 75% Green Belt, including agriculture. 25% is a mixture of housing, shops, and light industry. Both Corringham and Fobbing have Conservation Areas, with many listed buildings of historical significance and links to the Armada and the Peasants Revolt.
The local police, fire and ambulance stations are within our Forum area, and we are within easy reach of Basildon hospital. Our nearest rail station is Stanford le Hope on c2c and we have numerous bus routes throughout the Forum area.
We are a thriving community.
