What do we do?
Kids Inspire provides mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people, and their families. Through a range of therapeutic and community activities, we promote resilience, self-awareness and relationship building to empower more positive life choices.
About us
In 2020 we were delighted to be recognised for the value we provide our volunteers by receiving the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, an award we and our team of mentors, community volunteers and general volunteers are extremely proud of.
This year, as we celebrate our 15th birthday, we reflect on the increasing rise and complexity of the young people we see. We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg as a result of the pandemic and now, with the war in Ukraine and the rising costs of living we are anticipating the complexity of issues young people are experiencing to continue.
How you can be involved:
As we look at ways we can support the children of Thurrock (initially Grays), we welcome working with residents who want to make a difference to the mental health of young people in their community. Please join our volunteer movement focusing on youth social and emotional wellbeing in Grays, you will learn new skills in return and be a part of a team that is ready to listen to your ideas.
