July saw Jo, our volunteer coordinator, continue to be out in the community with volunteer drop in sessions being held at two of the fantastic hubs. The volunteer coordinator also facilitated volunteer managers training last month, which saw organisations who have volunteers come along to work together and update their knowledge to provide those who volunteer for them with a great experience. Jo has also been working with Inspire to support those who are looking for volunteer opportunities, whilst looking for employment. The end of July saw the volunteer centre, host a coffee morning where those who visited had the opportunity to speak to the volunteer coordinator about the opportunities that will suit them.
I’m sure you’ll all agree what a fantastic job Jo does for our community on a daily basis!
