Volunteer Centre Thurrock

The Volunteer Centre is based in the Beehive, West Street, Grays.  We can help you find the right volunteer placement, whether this is formal or informal, structured or corporate.  Volunteering is for everyone!

What could you do?

From fundraising to practical activities, there are volunteering opportunities for everyone.  You could:

  • provide administrative support
  • work in a charity shop
  • befriend an older person
  • provide first aid at events
  • volunteer for a driving service
  • IT or data inputting
  • help with gardening projects

Once you have registered to become a volunteer you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator or a team member (within approximately 7 working days) to organise a suitable appointment for you to come in and discuss the opportunities available.

We can talk to you about a wide range of volunteering opportunities and support you in finding interesting and rewarding volunteering opportunities.
