On Monday 5th August the CHC’s, along with other local services, including Thurrock Young Carer Service and Impulse Leisure, were invited to attend the Thameside Family Hub‘s Lunch and Learn session. They handed out lots of informative literature and spoke to parents and carers about everything they have to offer.
This was well attended and the children had fun with the learning toys (pictured here), and especially enjoyed the water play. A healthy lunch was provided and there was much laughter heard throughout this event.
The CHC’s also visited Morrisons, Grays for their Talking Shop event on Tuesday 6th August. These events offer an opportunity for local services to come together to share their information with the public.
These are held on the first Tuesday every month from 10am at Morrisons, Grays, and the CHC’s would love to see you there.
