Bulphan Village Hall CIO

Bulphan Village Hall is a great venue for Village activities, birthday parties, weddings, anniversaries, Christenings, funeral wakes, family get togethers, fund raising events, quiz nights, race nights,  pamper evenings, group and club meetings, seminars and much more.

There is free WiFi and overhead projector with remote controlled screen available (subject to conditions); a well-appointed kitchen with 2 cookers, a microwave, fridge freezer and wall-mounted water boiler for hot drinks; crockery, cutlery available; a large stage with curtains; a meeting room/dressing room;  parking for 30 cars, including 1 disabled bay; full disabled access and toilet facilities; baby-changing table in the ladies’ toilet. The hall is licensed for the sale of alcohol, entertainment etc.  Let’s hope you won’t need it, but there is a defibrillator in an external cabinet immediately outside the front door of the hall.

The hall has a beautiful sprung-pine floor, ideal for ballroom dancing, ballet and all other dance genres, except tap dancing or other forms of dance using hard-soled shoes.  The hall is light and bright and maintained to a very high standard.

Immediately adjacent to the hall is a modern village shop, off licence and lottery outlet, selling a wide variety of goods including those things you forgot to bring to the hall with you!

Outside, there is the Queen Elizabeth II Recreation Ground (for the use of the whole Village) which has:

A modern children’s play area (built 2009), fully fenced off

Large open grassed area and playing field

Beautiful willow tree for good photographs

Multi use games area (MUGA) used for tennis, basketball, badminton, football and more

Outdoor exercising equipment

Special area used for biking, skating and more
