Friends of Hardie Park- Community Fridge
The Community Fridge is a pop up fridge. The park receives food donations every morning from local supermarkets. They operate on a ‘donate what you can’ system, so if someone is struggling they can access food for free. They usually have fresh items too, along with non-perishable goods. You don’t need a voucher for this, anyone can use the service and nobody is means-tested.
The community fridge is open every day between 11-3pm, and stays open until 4pm at the weekends.
