Improving Life After Brain Injury

Improving lives after brain injury

Established in 1985, Headway Essex has a long history of supporting people living with acquired brain injury. We understand just how complex and wide ranging the effects can be. This is why we tailor our support, taking into account each person’s future aspirations.

Working in Thurrock and across Essex, we offer support in the community to hundreds of clients, family, friends and carers each year. Our day service hubs in Benfleet and Colchester provide practical activities and support to help people regain lost skills and learn how to cope and adjust.

Thanks to those who volunteer, fundraise and donate to us, we are able to help those we support develop a renewed sense of purpose, social structure and added meaning to their lives.

We’re here to listen and provide much needed support and advice. To speak with the Headway Essex Community Support Team, please call 01206 845945 or email abisupport@headwayessex.org.uk
