Music Man Project

Music Education

The Music Man Project (MMP)is a successful music education programme for children and adults with learning disabilities.

The programme involves weekly sessions and provides accessible tuition leading to inspirational performances. The MMP has groups nationally and internationally. These groups are no strangers to performing in world-renowned venues such as The London Palladium and The Royal Albert Hall and their aspirations are building.

Every MMP performance was made possible with the MMP music education programme (created by David Stanley BEM, UK Government Disability and Access Ambassador for Arts and Culture) which enhances learner’s innate musical abilities.

Members learn original music, sing, sign, dance and learn to play a range of musical instruments.

Weekly sessions are held on Mondays from 10.30-12.30 at Community House, New Rd, Grays RM17 6DR (during term times).
