Welcome!

If you hadn’t already guessed – my name is Ellie. I became a qualified Yoga Teacher in March 2020, a week before the whole world was shut down – typical!

I won’t lie to you and say that Movement, Yoga or Dance was always a big part of my life because it wasn’t. Back in 2015, I had a car accident that caused a big impact on one side of my back and pelvis, I was told by my doctor that the gym would be a “no-no” and to instead try Yoga. Well, at the time I was not happy to be told that and started crying on the bus home. I always thought Yoga was people simply sitting crossed-legged on the floor chanting weird noises. How wrong I was!

At the same time, I was determined to get better and back into the gym, so within a couple of days I decided to try a YouTube video for “Yoga for beginners” and at first it was quite weird because you are opening yourself up to a whole new language and movement that you probably haven’t tried before. That night, I slept like a baby which is something that I hadn’t had in a long time. That was the original reason why I decided to carry on with the Yoga practice until suddenly I noticed that my body did feel different in a good way. My body was slowly healing. I was beginning to realise the effect Yoga was having on me Physically and Mentally. In 2018 I had a sudden urge to create a career from this Daily Practice of Yoga. So, a year later in 2019, I made the choice to sign up to Yoga Teacher Training with YogaLondon. Within four months I was a qualified teacher. An amazing but demanding life-changing experience.

It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. So I’ll be here to guide you in your Yoga Practice whenever you are ready.
