Students from TCHCwere asked by the Volunteer centre to research and present a project on how to attract more young people into volunteering. The class tutor then asked the volunteer coordinator to attend their presentations. The presentations were of high quality with excellent investigation work shown throughout. All students participated and demonstrated their social speaking skills alongside ideas on events, which could be hosted to attract young people to discover more about volunteering.
“It was wonderful to work with a local post 16 provision and bringing their attention to volunteering over the last few weeks“. It was an absolute pleasure to attend and present the students with certificates, to show the students we appreciated their hard work” Said Jo, Volunteer Coordinator.
