On Friday the 19th April, Volunteer Centre Thurrock’s Volunteer Coordinator visited Corringham library alongside representatives from Sugarloaf, Alzheimer’s Society and Age Well East to promote the benefits of volunteering.
During the afternoon, conversations were held and information on volunteering was handed out. Networks and links were also established to support with those who are service users of these organisations, and those who may become service users in the future.
The Volunteer Coordinator looks forward to returning to Corringham in the future, to continue to promote the volunteering opportunities in Thurrock.
