Calling all Arts professionals
Elise Phillips, Executive Director for CoDa Dance has written an article, called Where dance and tech collide. “The article highlights our pioneering approach to inclusive dance and in particular our research into how creative technology can enhance the impact of our work on neurologically disabled participants and offer new ways to make our work accessible“.
As we enter our second year as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, this article feels like an important opportunity to position CoDa Dance as a small company making a big impact in the arts sector. Over the coming months we have ambitious plans to continue making an impact by:
expanding our Dance for Neurology sessions to hospitals and community settings across Essex, and introducing our creative technology to more participants
delivering academic research into how our Dance for Neurology activity impacts on patient quality of life
finalising and touring a new immersive dance installation using the kind of technology found in gaming
developing training programmes for artists, health professionals and Dance for Neurology participants
starting research on a new touring dance production that fuses immersive and interactive technologies and live performance.
It’s an exciting time of growth and development for us and we’d love to keep you up to date with our news as plans develop. To sign up to our mailing list, visit our website here or get in touch directly if you’d like to discuss our work together.
Additionally, we’re currently recruiting for a General Manager – all the info is on our website here. If you know someone who might be a good fit, please do share with them, or with your networks more widely.
