We caught up with Grays Town Park to hear how their Volunteering day on 27th September went.
Tina Holland, Grays Town Park said, “The day was a great success, Sarah Rivett, Community Development Manager at Lakeside and around 12 Lakeside employees joined me after seeing the volunteer shout out on the TCVS website as well as a group of residents, to help tackle some of the overgrown flower beds and borders in the park.
“Thankfully the rain stopped just as we started! They were a lovely bunch of people and worked so hard! We enjoyed their company and are very grateful for all that they helped us achieve. We are looking forward to having them back again next year.”
