Thurrock Frontline is a new, secure multi-agency digital referral and signposting platform for both services and the general public.
It gives quick and easy visibility of local community support and wellbeing services, you can make a referral in under 1 minute and you can track any referral you make. So no more chasing phone calls or emails!
In addition, the Frontline team works closely with local partners to ensure service information is kept up-to-date, new services are added, and old services are removed.
Every service chooses how it wishes to use Frontline, ie. whether to be visible or not on the local Frontline library, and whether to make and/or receive referrals. If, like a GP surgery or Essex Police, your service does not need to be visible, no problem – your team can still make referrals and signposts out to other services.
Service managers can view their team’s referral and signposting activity at any time, and even download a report from Frontline to evidence partnership working, referral volumes etc. Frontline is both a website and an app (‘Frontline Referrals’) so you can signpost and refer on the move.
The four benefits for VCFSE sector include:
Frontline saves time and resources:
Find services easily and quickly, all in one place
Make referrals in under 1 minute (most often)
No need to phone/email to chase a referral, track it on your Frontline ‘dashboard’ anytime
Each service stays in control of its listing on Frontline:
You can tweak/edit your service info any time
You can add an update notice, e.g. Office closure period
You manage staff user accounts, adding new staff and deleting when required
If demand is too great, you can pause referrals into your service anytime and you can re-start when you’re ready
Frontline gives you data to evidence:
Demand levels for your service
Extent/breadth of partnership working
Other issues which clients present, for which you have referred/signposted them onto other services
Frontline has a very strong track record as a well-proven and highly successful tool in many other locations. Hundreds of services access the platform regularly. Additional features include:
The Frontline team uses a ‘traffic light’ system behind the platform, ensuring that no referral on Frontline is ever ‘lost’ or unanswered
The Frontline team chases up on delayed referrals so you don’t have to
The Frontline team actively works with partners/networks to keep local service information up-to-date.
There are a number of Frontline online demo drop-in dates planned for January 2024 which will help provide more information about the new platform:
