Essex Swimming Championships 2024
Thurrock Swimming Club participated in the first block of the Essex Swimming Championships held at the London Aquatics Centre. The swimmers who train at Blackshots Leisure Centre with Impulse Leisure enjoyed huge success during the first weekend’s events.

Thurrock SC also fielded relay team into the championships.
Boys 9/10 year age group Nathan Alumanah, Boris Dimitrov, David Hoara, George Ward finished 5th in the 4×50 free relay. The girls also finished 5th in the free relay and also participated in the medley event – Iona Parkes, Hannah Skinsley, Susie-Mae Sargent Cordell, Emily Church, Naomi Ijomoni. The boys 9/10 medley relay finished 5th overall
Boys 13/14 team Kai Patel, Zak Walker, Ivan Ijomoni & Will Minister finished 2nd in both the free and medley relays. The girls Isabella DaSilva, Lilyana Verlander, Isla Cotter, Arianna Tverijonas finished 10th in both events
