Thameside – Stronger Together Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund 2021
Individuals, Groups and Organisations who use arts, culture and heritage to create live engagement can now apply for grant funding to help build post-Covid confidence through outdoor activities and support the Thameside Theatre to promote its reopening.
Thurrock CVS administers the Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF) on behalf of Thurrock Council. The Thameside Theatre have provided funding for 2021 via the Cultural Recovery Fund to specifically support live, creative activities that use the arts, culture and heritage in Thurrock, to:
help build strong and well-connected communities by building post Covid confidence amongst cultural audiences
raise awareness of the Thameside Theatre reopening
The fund offers 3 months funding for projects that are either Thurrock-wide or neighbourhood-based for delivery during the August summer holidays.
VSDF Stronger Together Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund 2021
The Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF) Stronger Together Arts Fund for 2021 is now open for applications. The programme will share a maximum of £13,500 in grants:
up to £5,000 for an individual, group or organisation
Projects can use any art form, including – but not limited to – dance, visual arts, video, drama and music.
Any artwork and intellectual property created using the funding will belong to the individual or group that submitted the application.
We will ask for monitoring information, including screenshots or digital responses that could help to support future funding applications and/or develop case studies that can be used for Stronger Together PR and marketing. Images and information will be credited to the relevant artist or group.
How to apply
The application process has 1 stage:
Stage 1, full application – applicants will be asked to complete and submit a simple application form with an optional supporting attachment (e.g. 2 minute video, drawing, image etc) by 18th June 2021 which will be shortlisted by a panel w/c 28th June 2021 before decisions on funding are announced w/c 5th July 2020
