Many Morrisons around the country worked to raise vital funds for their Charity Partner, Together for Short Lives. They did so by transporting a butterfly from store to store in various ways. All the money raised in their Corringham store will go directly to Little Havens Hospice. Corringham managed to raised an amazing £712.14!
Then it was the turn of the Grays store. There was much fanfair at the front of the store with wonderful face painting from Loo’s Faces face painting and glitter tattoos. Betsy the butterfly, then travelled from Grays to Chelmsford via an EnsignBusCo open top bus, accompanied by music from Grays Town Band with amazing butterfly bikers to escort us. We are yet to hear the final total raised by Grays Morrisons but will update ASAP.
