Thurrock Voices, formerly Thurrock Golden Voices, have been working hard this past year to move forward following the challenging years during the pandemic.
The choir Chair, Barbara, said:
“After returning to rehearsals following Covid, with a depleted membership, we decided at our AGM last year that it was a good time to update our image and rebrand. To achieve this, we successfully applied for funding from the Thurrock Voluntary Sector Development Fund which has enabled us to involve all choir members in workshops led by our Musical Director and his staff to design and develop our new logo and colourful image. We now have new polo shirts for performances, our flyers and banners are currently being finalised and the choir is open to a wider age with membership now available to people 40 years plus. We hope you like our new look!”
