To all knitting and crochet enthusiasts! Thurrock Dementia Action Alliance are putting out a request for as many knitted and crocheted forget-me-nots as possible in preparation for this year’s Dementia Action Week, 16th – 22nd May 2022.
Please find below the Dementia Friends Forget Me Not Patterns as well as examples of previous knitted flower ideas such a postbox toppers. The idea is to ‘yarn bomb’ busy areas of Thurrock that particular week to create more awareness about dementia. This year’s theme is around ‘Diagnosis’.
